Owners and operators of small to medium businesses are continually bombarded with buzzwords from the digital marketing sphere and it can be really difficult to know what to focus on. Budget of course is a key factor for any business but none more so than the small to medium business. Owners and managers don’t want to assign budget to something that won’t give them an effective return on investment.
The guys at The Cube have put together the below infographic which details some of the main trends in online marketing that are being mentioned widely for this year. Managers need to realize that this is not a one-size-fits-all scenario in that some trends are not suitable for some industries. For example, influencer marketing can be highly valuable for the lifestyle space but not so much for other industries so the point is you need to know what suits your business best and invest in those. The important thing to remember is to not get caught up in following what everyone else is doing but staying true to your budget and your ROI goals.
